Who doesn’t like to smile? But, I often don’t do it enough. It’s not that I’m frowning or not happy, but I don’t actively smile as much as I could. Smiling has multiple benefits, not the least of which is making the world a better place. We all know that it’s contagious…if you smile at others, most people will smile back. It’s nice to add a little cheer to someone’s day. But what happens to us when we smile?
If I relax my face into a neutral state, then just make myself smile without thinking of anything to make it happen I immediately feel uplifted, lighter. If I think of something that’s irritating or difficult for me, then make myself smile, the irritation decreases or disappears. Just choosing to smile more leads to a happier disposition, and a higher vibration, and in the manner of manifesting…more of what I’d like to see in my life.
One of my ongoing goals is to smile more, whether I’m alone or with friends, doing something fun or, especially, when I’m not 🙂 Have a happy day!
